On July 25, 2004 at 3:30 pm (ish). The wedding was held at St Williams Church in Tewksbury. Deacon Bill did a great job presiding over the ceremonies.
It was a nice ceremony. I got to peek at the surprisingly large turnout through the little secret window in the Groom's Room. I was nervous and completely stressed. Ask John about my jacket and he'll tell you all. The ceremony went pretty well. As I said before, Deacon Bill did a great job. The Bride's Maids were Eileen and Rose. The Groom's Men/Ushers were Artie and Mark. Laura looked amazing as the Maid of Honor, and John was indispensable as the Best Man. (I'd have never made it through without him.) We didn't have Alf ride up the aisle in a remote control car, only because it wasn't working. So we had the Flower Girl (my cousin, Julian Harris) carry him up the aisle. Christine's entrance was magical, too. She was beautiful. We were both nervous. Apparently, I wobbled a bit. And Christine was shaking. Laura cried. Christine cried too, even though she won't admit it. John and Laura also gave wonderful readings. Click Here to read John's reading and Click Here to read Laura's reading.
